Many community partners contribute annually to help provide the supportive services necessary for homeless individuals and families to reach and maintain self-sufficiency . . . to have a permanent place to live . . . to reconnect with a support network in the community. Connections’ annual budget includes approximately 30-40% in contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations, the faith community, organizations, and small businesses. We invite your partnership with unrestricted financial support … or toward a specific program or service if you prefer.
IMMEDIATE GIFT
•Personal Annual Gift: An annual gift to Connections for the Homeless can demonstrate your ongoing support of programs and services. (Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover)
•Corporate Matching Gift: Many employers will double or even triple your personal contribution through an employee matching gift program. Ask your employer for details
•Living Tribute: Gifts of this kind may be given to observe a special occasion such as an anniversary, bat or bar mitzvah, birthday, or retirement.

PLANNED GIFT
Planned giving often makes a more substantial contribution possible and can benefit you through tax reduction. Before making your final decision about a bequest in your will or other planned gift, please contact the Director of Development at (847) 475-7070 ext. 105 so that any planned gift can be of greatest benefit to you and to Connections for the Homeless. We also want to be certain we are in full compliance with your wishes.
EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFT
Your employer may have a matching gifts program that can increase the value of your charitable contribution by as much as two to three times. Contact your human resource department to see if your company is one of the over 100 companies operating in the state of Illinois with a matching gift program. Then just send us the paperwork and we will take it from there.
