Personal stability: Individuals

Hilda's Place transitional shelter accommodates 20 adults and is open 365 nights a year. This year approximately 7,300 nights of shelter will be provided to over 140 homeless adults and more than 15,000 meals will be served.

With the guidance provided by case managers and their personal commitment to a goal plan, residents become better equipped to find permanent housing and to resume activities of an independent adult. Services support an individualized response to needs and foster self-reliance.

The residential program begins the process of restoration through meeting the basic needs for food, shelter, and respite.

Available clinical supportive services include an array of offerings that promote physical and mental health, permanent housing, and economic self-sufficiency: case management, psychiatric assessment, medications, and monitoring, substance abuse evaluation and counseling, health education, prevention, and medical treatment, and access to a job coordinator.

Personal stability: Families

Family Housing Services provides resources to meet the needs of families in crisis. Transitional and permanent supportive housing and prevention services help keep families in housing and connected to their communities.
