Featured Sponsor - Champion Level: Brown Kaplan + Liss LLP
In 1962 John Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth, Jackie Robinson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame and Paul Brown opened a small accounting office in the basement of his Evanston home. There he began building relationships to help his clients meet their financial goals.

What started with a few relationships in 1962 has become Brown, Kaplan + Liss, a full-service accounting, tax and consulting firm, the largest such firm along the north suburban Lake Michigan shoreline.

Brown, Kaplan + Liss has supported Connections as a top-level sponsor since 2001.They have also worked with Connections’ Employment Program and have hired several of Connections’ clients over the years.

Corporate Collaboration - Baird & Warner, Evanston Office
For 156 years, Baird & Warner has been the dominant force in Chicagoland real estate, building a record of success and longevity unparalleled in the industry.  Five generations of family ownership doing what's right, taking a stand, and making a difference for people in real estate.

The Evanston office has supported Connections since 2004 with grants from its Goodwill Network, as well as periodic volunteer projects. This year, Baird & Warner partnered with Connections to participate in the Evanston July 4 parade with a float that featured our work together.

Corporate Volunteerism - Nicor Gas
Nicor Gas partnered with us this spring with the materials and labor to make much needed physical improvements to our transitional shelter. As a result of their one work day, they managed to install energy efficient fixtures, improve lighting, repair the women's bathroom, and paint the main hallway of the common area.
